Prescription rights
Stroud Road Veterinary Surgery provides written prescriptions in line with CMA medicine transparency requirements. Clients can request a written prescription via: during consultation, phone, email and online portal. Hard copy prescriptions can be supplied by the end of consultation. Digital prescriptions are typically supplied within 2 business days. Prescriptions can be sent to: client and nominated pharmacy. First medicine fee: £21.00. Additional medicine fee (same consultation): £12.00. Repeat medication requests are handled per request and reviewed by the clinical team. Declared exclusions: controlled drugs. Prescription fee: £24.00 (statutory cap £21.00, above cap — review required). Additional prescription item fee: not listed — publish if you charge for extra items dispensed in the same consultation. Repeat prescription fee: £24.00. Dispensing fee: £8.00.
Dispensing policy
Stroud Road Veterinary Surgery dispenses medicines in line with professional guidance and client choice requirements. The clinic dispenses medicines in-house where clinically appropriate. Clients may use written prescriptions for external dispensing. Handling time for written prescriptions is aligned with in-practice dispensing for applicable medicines. Repeat medication follows the same process as written prescription requests. Declared dispensing fee: £8.00.
Own brand disclosure
